The Buffalo Alpine Jacket is a versatile outer layer designed to keep you warm and dry in all conditions. The Alpine jacket combines Buffalo fibre pile construction, with a more common hooded jacket design. Ideal for those experimenting with the Buffalo system. The Alpine Jacket consists of an outer shell made from Pertex Quantum with a thick AquaTherm pile lining. While none of the constituent parts are waterproof in the same sense a shell jacket, the combination of windproof outer and extremely fast wicking pile lining will keep you warm and dry in very wet conditions. The Alpine Jacket features a high pile lined collar and hood offering extra protection. The full length front zip has an internal storm flap to keep cold draughts. The zip is two way so can be partially opened from the bottom which is useful when wearing a harness. There are two pile lined zipped hand warmer pockets for essentials.
